Decaturville

The county was founded in 1845. The small town of Decaturville is between Memphis and Nashville, 2.5 hours from Memphis and just under two hours from Nashville. About 25 miles from Interstate 40, the town makes a quiet stopping place for travelers between Tennessee’s larger cities, especially during Decaturville’s annual Main Street Festival. The Decaturville Main Street Festival is each October, the third weekend of the month. The festival features over 50 vendors selling everything from homemade cider to woodworking, an auction, a bicycle rodeo, children’s games, cake walks and live entertainment. The open-air food court features fair foods, from barbecue fare to kid-pleasing desserts.
